Patricks Barn
Patrick's Barn is a 17th century Sussex Barn on private estate and farm just outside West Hoathly near Ardingly West Sussex.
It remains largely original and offers a beautiful rustic backdrop to your wedding or event. Adjacent to it is Patrick's Byre, a large covered space still used for cows and sheep in winter. It is your space to create you perfect environment, you can DIY or we can recommend event stylists for you. We are a working farm but during the summer months the cows are out in the fields and don't mind us using their winter barn for bands, dancing, bars, bouncy castles, chill space.....
The 11 acres of Gardens and Terrace of the main house are available for reception drinks and blessing ceremonies. The lawns are divided by a path which make a perfect aisle leading to an 400 year old oak tree under which vows can be made.
The drive is lined by giant Californian Redwood trees your guests can wander through (it's a great place for photos). You can greet them under the carriage porch before they go through to the terrace. It's a wonderful way to start your celebrations and a great place for photos. Spend an hour relaxing with your guests before meandering through the Rhododendrons to the barn for food and dancing.
